CHAIRPERSON OF MISSION TO THE NEEDY FOUNDATION DR. GERTRUDE RWAKATARE HAS RELEASED 78 PRISONERS

Founder and Chairperson of  Mission to the Needy Foundation, Dr. Gertrude Rwakatare, volunteered to pay 78 prisoners in three prisons in Dar es Salaam and be released after paying 25 million shillings equivalent to 10 thousand dollars . The activity was held last year under the spiritual leader who had been accompanied by his staff who started in Keko prison and later towards Ukonga and Segerea. He is now volunteering to finance 50 prisoners in DODOMA prisons, including breastfeeding women, elderly and children.

Speaking to journalists, Dr. Rwakatare said he has given that small amount of money and minor offenses so that they can return to their homeland and build a nation.
"I am in Keko prison where I am happy to release prisoners who have been arrested here for various reasons. Some have failed to finance 40,000 shillings, some have failed to finance 50 thousand, "he said. “I’m very  passionate with my community,  I have been touched, it is impossible to stop what we  are able to do. so in this prison we have paid for them and have been set free, and I have told them to be good citizen, because the prison not a hotel, or somewhere to go outing.

Let us join together to support this vision
